Overview
The Kunozan Toshogu enshrines Lord Tokugawa Ieyasu who founded Tokugawa Shogunate in 1603.
He brought peace to Japan for 265 years. The main shrine was designated as a National Treasure in 2010.
The beautiful scenary is waiting for you after climbing up 1159 steps from the first Torii gate. It is a nice 20 minutes mountain hike from Suruga bay.
