Gotemba is a place that celebrates relaxed living and hospitality and is a great city to learn more about drinking and dining culture and customs while traveling around Japan! Get the chance to create an original cocktail or mocktail using Japanese spirits inspired by the ingredients unique to the area. Take a peek into the history and culture and come to understand Gotemba’s refreshing atmosphere through visiting 4 food stops and trying exceptional regional cuisine. Enjoy an evening of delicious food and great conversation, go beyond the city limits, and gain a deeper connection to life beyond the capital.

Itinerary

4:15pm	Connect with your tour guide at the meeting point to start the program itinerary.
4:30pm	Visit a local izakaya (pub) for a hopping evening and try unique local dishes. Craft beer fans can try some local brews in a unique local bar. All the while we are exploring, you can learn about the history and revitalization of this charming town at the base of Mount Fuji.
5:30pm	While travelling around Japan, experience more about dining and drinking culture and customs and connect with locals along the way.
6:00pm	Then, have a chance to create an original cocktail or mocktail using Japanese spirits inspired by the ingredients of Shizuoka and Gotemba City.
6:45pm	Next, visit a special shrine with a beautiful history and a connection to Japan’s most famous movie director.
