Overview
Ms. Chiba is a sushi chef who is particular about “Edomae sushi”. Edo means old Tokyo. Edomae sushi uses seasonal fish, shellfish and other kinds of seafood processed with vinegar, cured with seaweed, boiled, roasted and such. The technique was developed ancient times to preserve the ingredients. In this program, you will learn about the way to make Edomae sushi from filleting a fish and the fascination and history of sushi and a wide variety of ingredients from Shizuoka Prefecture.
It will captivate you in the world of sushi.
