Overview
Suishamura is located in a mountainous area not far from Shizuoka City – a 250-year-old Japanese traditional house with a thatched roof will greet you.
Catch fish in the river, chop firewood and cook rice on an ‘Irori’ – old-fashioned fireplace.
Spend time relaxing by the irori, build a fire cook the seasonal ingredients and enjoying eating them!
It is an authentic Japanese experience cooking traditional meals using natural ingredients immersing yourself in traditional Japanese countryside living from a bygone era.
You will find a nostalgic landscape of old Japan, such as a suspension bridge over a clear stream.
Let’s enjoy the beautiful scenery and the attractive country life together!
