Itinerary

11:00	Meet you at “MARUZEN Tea Roastery”, Green Tea & Gelato Café.
11:10	Introduction. Learn Matcha Calligraphy history and essential calligraphy knowledge.
11:20	Demonstration By watching demonstration, you learn basic technique from the instructor.
11:25	Let’s try! Now, try writing your name or Kanji characters which you will get. It will suit your personality.Because Kanji characters have different meanings, your scroll will be uniquely unlike any other.
11:55	Make your own hanging scroll. It will be a great memorable souvenir which you will want to keep forever.
12:15	Take your picture with your artwork. If you have any questions about Japanese Calligraphy, Shizuoka city or other Japanese cultures, I’m always happy to help you!
