[IC-1]Nordic Walking from Asahi Falls to the Baird Brewery Garden
Description
Overview
This is a health-promoting walk tour from the scenic spot of Asahi Falls to the Baird Brewery Garden. Asahi Falls is the highest waterfall on the Izu Peninsula. It was once the site of the temple of wandering Zen monks. It is also the place where the famous shakuhachi(Japanese flute) song was born. You will surely receive inspiration from the waterfall. At Kinryuin Temple you will see a beautiful “Thousand Hands Kannon.” Next stop is the ruins of the Jomon period, where you will observe the large plains created by the Kano River. The final goal is the Baird Brewery Garden, a beer factory. You will enjoy factory tour & craft beer tasting! They have 20 types of taps in the taproom including yuzu and wasabi flavored beer!
