[IC-2]Enjoy wearing kimono! Shuzenji Onsen Geo Walk
Description
Overview
It is a geo walk in the center of Shuzenji Onsen in kimono! Together with the geoguide, you will learn about the history of Shuzenji Onsen, the secrets of the terrain where the hot springs spring out. You will enjoy a little intellectual walking around the town. First you will visit “Georia,” the Izu Peninsula Geopark Museum and learn about the unique origins of the Izu Peninsula. Having the basics in mind, you’re ready for a geo walk! Then, you will be dressed at the kimono rental “Machi Navi Yururi” and start strolling through the retro-style hot spring town and bamboo forest paths in kimono. By walking and strolling, you will think of the tragedy of the Kamakura samurais, and trace the footprints of the literary and artistic greats who stayed at this small spa town. It is said that if you find five red bridge crests in Shuzenji Spa, you can expect the fulfillment of your love. There are a variety of scenic spots where you can take Instagram-worthy photos!
