Overview
Jogasaki Coast is the newest coast on the Izu Peninsula, with lava from the eruption of Mount Omuro 4,000 years ago. The terrain is steep, but the trails are well-maintained, so even those with weak legs can walk. There are many things to see along the trail, such as a historic cannon for sea defense, a thrilling suspension bridge, a lave tunnel and a lighthouse with observation deck.
