[IW-2]A spectacular view of the west coast Izu peninsula, 3hours walk through the Tomyogasaki
Description
Overview
Starting from Tago fishing port, which once prospered for bonito fishing, we will walk along the Tomyogasaki trail. At the top of the trail the base of a lighthouse built in samurai era remains today. On this scenic course you can enjoy a nice view of the Japanese Southern Alps. You can find sea caves, faults and underwater debris flows of submarine volcanoes. From this intricate coastline you will understand the reason why a lighthouse was necessary at that location. At the goal point, a spectacular view of Futo Coast, a group of volcanic dykes will greet you.
