Overview

You can experience the traditional crafts, Japanese indigo dyeing, which is passed down from Edo period with the explanation of the history and the techniques by the guide who can speak English (Chinese).
The characteristics of this tour is that you can learn the history and the techniques of Japanese indigo dyeing thoroughly because the guide is available.
This atelier is very rare because you can experience the “natural” Japanese indigo dyeing.
The craftsman thoroughly teaches you the traditional way of dyeing which is passed down from Edo period.
Let’s make your original dyeing that is only in the world by yourself and bring it back to your home as a souvenir.
