※This is NOT a Mt. Fuji Climbing Program.
“Mt. Fuji Eco Study Walk” is an educational walk in the woods of Mt. Fuji.
Courses will be customized depending on the customers request, allowed time, and weather conditions
by the professional local guide.

Our major courses are;

(1) Mizugatsuka Course
Available throughout the year. You will walk around the 2th station of Mt. Fuji ( about 1500m above sea level ) to learn about
unique ecosystems around along with stunning views of Mt. Fuji when the weather allows.
Time required : 1 – 4 hours.

(2) Hoei Crater Walk
“Hoei crater” is a huge crater caused by the eruption 300 years ago that can be seen even far from Mt. Fuji.
The program starts from the 5th station of Fujinomiya trail ( 2400m above sea level ) to reach the crater.
If time allows, you can even walk down the crater and walk up the other side to try Mt. Hoei summit !!
Time required : 2 – 4 hours

(3) Kofuji Hike
Kofuji is an enigmatic space with no trees at the edge of Mt. Fuji trail. The small hill is said once to be used for ritual ceremonies
by the “Fuji-ko”, the Mt. Fuji religious followers. The view from there is just overwhelming, looking down Kawaguchi Lake and Yamanaka Lake,
and forests and cities in Shizuoka and Yamanashi states. Recommended for elderly hikers and short time visit.
Time required : 1 – 2 hours.

More courses are available upon request. Experience fees are all the same with a guide. For interpreters, additional charges will be on.
