Tea Plantation Tour & Traditional Tea Tasting Game
Address: 2365 Nishiyama-cho Nishi-ku Hamamatsu-shi 432-8001
Description
Overview
The tea farmer will guide you on a tour around the tea plantation and processing plant.
Then you’ll be able to enjoy playing a traditional tea tasting / rating game called “Chakabuki” that dates back to the late Kamakura period (1185 – 1333 A.D).
During “Chakabuki”, you will blind-taste various kinds of tea and try to guess what they are.
You’ll be able to learn and start to better understand the intricacies of Japanese tea directly from the tea farmer.
