Description
Overview
“Bamboo is a super plant. It’s strong yet flexible, hard yet soft, edible, and grows quickly.” Japanese people have coexisted with bamboo, using it for chopsticks, baskets, fences, and walls. Considered a sacred plant, bamboo has been cherished since the mythological era. Skilled artisans make a variety of crafts by using bamboo. To learn more about bamboo and its crafted products, we’ll hear from Mr. Yoshiro Suzuki.
