Overview
The lava flow which flowed out from Shin-Fuji Volcano about 10,000 years ago flowed down the valley between Mt.Ashitaka and Mt.Hakone nearly 40 kilometers and created the ground of Mishima city.
The lava flow named Mishima Lava stopped at near Rakujuen and Shirataki Park. Snow melting water and rain water of Mt.Fuji which has flowed through the gap of underground lava flow springs out in Mishima city area, where the end of the lava flow is located.
