Overview
Rogaining, which is increasing its popularity along with an outdoor boom in Japan, is usually an event in which multiple teams compete for points with other teams.
This tour can be enjoyed by just two people or more.
The rogaining field is located in ‘Satoyama’ where people have co-existed with nature over time – enabling you to enjoy Japanese satoyama culture, seasonal views, and local lifestyle.
Each team visits a series of checkpoints that have been placed ahead of time.
Checkpoints can be visited in any order and are assigned varying point values based on technical difficulty and distance from the starting/finishing point.
Satoyama experiences are included at some checkpoints.
The goal is to accrue as many points as possible in the allotted time of the event. You can choose one of the fields:
1. Village field with hot springs
2. Tea’ Japanese letter village
3. Green tea and Tokaido historical village
