Shizuoka Prefecture is one of the largest green tea producers of Japan but tea industry is currently in a transition period. Some stick to tradition, and others try to find a new tea industry to go. Matcha is a good example.
Shizuoka Tea With is a day program of tea farm visit to learn about green tea. As connected with more than 10 tea farms, the choice is yours depending on your itinerary and your own purposes. Not to mention tasting of their best tea, you will know both aspects about green tea business, good part and bad part, and how they are facing on or dealing with these matters.
